Shabbat at Kolot
We find joy and comfort in Jewish celebration and prayer and we base our Jewish practice on our understanding of Jewish tradition and modern innovation, and as we seek to create new forms and rituals involving story, drama, dance, literature and music. Music is a cornerstone of our worship, which encompasses a wide musical variety. Our prayer is one aspect of the congregation's expression and development, and we seek to renew it regularly through learning and experimentation.

The Other Friday Night: A BHS/Kolot Collaboration - 2nd Fridays!
Join us on the 2nd Friday of each month for an in-person, home-based, Shabbat experience. In collaboration with Brooklyn Heights Synagogue and expanding on a previously established young adult gathering, all those seeking to build vibrant community are welcomed. Join us for monthly schmoozing, Shabbos cuisine, and jazz-inspired, meditative Kabbalat Shabbat singing. This offering is currently on pause for the summer; check back in the fall for more information.
