Join Cantor Segal and our early-childhood educators for a multi-sensory exploration of Jewish holidays, Shabbat and Mitzvot through puppetry, song, story, crafts, movement and games. For children in pre-K through 1st grade and their parents.
Kolot K’tanim meets on the second Saturday of the month from October 2017 – June 2018 at Kolot Chayeinu in the social hall, 10:00am-12:00pm.
In Torah Tots, we bring Judaism’s most epic stories to life for our youngest community members. With hands-on, multi-sensory programming for children 0-4 (and parents!), we will roll, crawl and step our way into the role of Storyteller with tales of Torah as our guide.
Torah Tots runs from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Class dates:

Both Kolot K’tanim and Torah Tots are designed for families to participate in together. Activities and discussions will be structured to facilitate parents helping and learning alongside their children. Participation in Kolot K'tanim and TorahTots are open to non-members. For the first time, Kolot is offering a weekly option for 1st graders. Kitah Aleph will focus on hands-on Jewish Learning. This class is a project-based introduction to Jewish life and learning with invitations to students to explore who they are in the Kolot community and in the world.
Kitah Aleph will meet on Thursdays from 3:45-5:15pm in the classrooms at Park Slope Jewish Center, 1320 8th Ave.
The first Kitah Aleph class will be on Thursday, October 19th, preceded by a gathering for Kitah Aleph families, date TBD.
Note: 1st graders can enroll in Kitah Aleph for a weekly program OR Kolot K'tanim for a monthly program.
