Welcome to Kolot's Rabbinic Transition information section. Below you will find files, letters, and other communiques.
House Meetings: Throughout the year 5778, members of Kolot Chayeinu will be in a discernment process about where Kolot is headed and what we're seeking in our next rabbi. The first step in this process is a series of house meetings. Each of these house meetings will follow the same agenda and provide written feedback in the same structure. Please sign up by completing the form.

Communiqué from the RABBINIC SEARCH COMMITTEE, 7/24/17:
As you know, following the Rabbi’s retirement next summer (2018), Kolot will first engage an Interim Rabbi for a term of one year to help us make the transition from the only rabbi we’ve known to new leadership and new possibilities. Communiqué from the RABBINIC SEARCH COMMITTEE, 5/5/17:

The Transition Team was created by Kolot’s board in 5776 and given three tasks: to learn about rabbinic transitions; to use what we learned to develop a process for Kolot’s transition; and to communicate with the congregation. This is all in preparation for our founding rabbi, Rabbi Ellen Lippmann's, retirement towards the end of 5778 (June 2018.) Leading the charge in our Rabbinical search is our Rabbinic Search Committee, which the Transition Team created in February 2017.
On February 7, 2017 we announced the Rabbinic Search Committee Members! Click here for more information.
On December 5, 2016, a Town Hall meeting was held - the first of a series of opportunities for the Transition Team to share what we’ve learned with the congregation and solicit feedback as we move forward. Following the Town Hall meeting, the transition team disseminated a Transition Timeline.
