Our Community Within
We strive to gather as a whole community, and also nurture the development of affinity groups within the larger congregation.. --Kolot Chayeinu Values Statement
Kolot Chayeinu is is developing services and activities specifically for members and non-members in their 20's and 30's. Last year we began with LOCALLY GROWN SHABBAT at Kolot Chayeinu/Voice of Our Lives, a minyan for people in their 20s and 30s that's pure Brooklyn and it continues on, led this year by Student Rabbi Scott Fox and member Heath Reynolds.
Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transgender People, and Queers are proud members of Kolot Chayeinu. Our synagogue brings our identities--LGBTQ and Jews--together in a supportive, spiritual community.
