The Gala Coordinator will be responsible for interfacing regularly with Gala co-chairs, committee co-chairs, staff, Board members, member volunteers and external vendors. The Coordinator will support planning, promoting, and producing all aspects of the Gala. 

Much of this planning is already underway, including: the Gala program; refreshments; volunteer management; decor; outreach and ticketing; fundraising; journal, and logistics - all components needed to ensure a tremendously successful event. The Gala Coordinator will report to the Gala Co-Chairs and will have had previous experience organizing similar events. In addition to collaborating with and helping to support the Gala team in the months leading up to June 7, the Gala Coordinator will need to be present throughout the Gala to ensure that everything runs smoothly, including set-up and clean-up. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
